Does anyone else think that Danny Rose's goal was more bad goalkeeping than a good goal? Centre of the goal... hit well enough but, meh. I can't be biased because the lad's Donny born and bred even if he turned us down for Peterborough last summer. *****.

Yeah it wasn't an amazing goal. Good technique in the shot for sure and it's a hard thing to do, but if Almunia was where he was meant to be then it would have been an easy stop for any keeper. I probably could have kept it out if I was on the line.

He got to where he needed to be it just went through his hands. He is such a liability.

He was walking backwards though so was off balance I think and when he went for the ball he couldnt get a firm hand to hit it out and just flopped at it. If we want to win anything we need a keeper, everyone bar Wenger can see that although he might be fixing that this summer. I honestly think we have a shot with Akinfeev, if we got him early as he's not in the WC, he can come to London early and Arshavin can help him settle so I can see it happening but he'd be £20 Mill + so it's pricey..

If Sorenson was on his line for Figueroa's goal, Figueroa wouldn't have scored...
Almunia was doing his goalkeeping duties and was beaten by an incredible shot by Danny Rose. Don't think his goal should be discredited at all.

He wasn't doing his goakeeping duties. He could have caught the corner, and failing that he should have been quicker to get back. Even then the ball pretty much went straight through his hands. It was a series of GK blunders, but I will say that the technique and accuracy were both very good. However, he could have saved it, whilst with Figueroa's goal Sorenson couldn't.
