Mail from UK to Ireland is predominantly done by boat.

Seeing as play is situated in jersey (small island just off the coast of france) im guessing itll be by boat
I only had one major hiccup with them and i think it was operation flashpoint, i ordered it, 3 week later it had come
If play shipped their orders from Jersey by boat then their delivery times would be nowhere near what they are now, which is 2-5 days, only common exception is if something goes out of stock but then they contact you.
So yes, Paul, I'd be pretty sure that your problem is airspace closure, all airspace in southern england is closed, so the planes can't fly in, so your item is probably still sat in Jersey, obviously it'll cause a backlog too so you could be waiting a week or two.

I was laughing at the closure of UK airspace till I realised that something I ordered from Holland is stuck in err Holland.
Had one bad run in with Play but on the whole its usually a good server. I had ordered a game and what happened to it I do not know but after 3-4 weeks waiting as requested by Play I then listed it as undelivered and the next day a new one had been dispatched and arrived swiftly. I'm guessing it had been lost in the post which isn't Plays fault at all.
