Infraction expiration dates

We are very strict on Moderators sending a PM regarding rule breaking and any usernote you receive is just a record of PMs you may receive. In some instances user notes are posted to alert other moderators to an ongoing issues, such as if a member has a history of bullying but cases of these are very rare.

Not long ago I changed the way automatic bans were issued so it took a little longer and times were shorter. I believe we are quite lenient and accomodating in regard to rule breaking and at the end of the day, if you don't break rules you won't get infractions and cautions!

i suggested the warning thing a while ago adam, but it was rejected because the PM is less robotic and a bit more personal.

Agreed, if you don't break the rules you won't get in trouble. If you have trouble with this principle you're going to struggle in life.

Well if you are breaking the odds rules you shouldn't be getting cautioned any time soon. I think 2 months is a good amount.

its hard not to get infractions for some of us even when we do behave we get screwed over

As Catzsy said it used to be six months, two months is more than fair in my opinion.

Not really. I've never had an infraction, and haven't had a warning for 2 years.

Seems easy enough to me!

I guess thats a fair point Garion, sometimes I break rules by accident though like saying "***" instead of "****" (who uses the k nowadays honestly) & thats a red one for avoiding the filter... not on purpose at all. >_>

2 months is fair enough, i get infractions frequently but once i get to 3 or 4 it stops me from breaking any more rules because then i know i'll get cautioned. it's your own fault if you end up going over it really.
