In short the answer is no.

In some length; I think it is something you are born with who does have an effect (to an extend) on who you are, your personality and so forth - in other words your mannerisms and traits. As for anybody in this thread who attempts (usually it occurs) to jump on people who are opposed to homosexuality, just please do not try and force your politically correct views upon people who have an opinion that differs to that of your own.

That's interesting. I would have inferred that ones sexuality is both part a trait you're born with, and is something you develop after many years of social interactions, your personality and the relationships you've had in your life. If someone's against homosexuality they might as well post about it here, where I swear 99% of guys aren't even straight. It will be a good fight!

My argument (or response) to that would be that the trait you were born with steered you through those social interactions, developed personality and the relationships you've had - in other words the social interactions of growing up only advanced, aligned or added to the natural desires that you had from the beginning which are obviously triggered by the onset of puberty. It is similar to skin colour or hair colour - both remain there but are influenced to a degree by outside factors or face value factors (dyes, different styles and cuts) but at the end of the day if you are white, you are white. If you have brown hair then you have brown hair and nothing from the outside is going to fundementally challenge that.

The idea doesn't repulse me but I don't find men attractive.

Can't say I would be able to have sexual relations with a female. I find women attractive but to go that far... no.

If I was older and a guy came on to me, I think yeah I'd get involved, but I wouldn't have a long term relationship with a man, I don't think anyway - who knows, I'm still developing my sexuality
