To be honest, what's the issue here? I find it quite useful to see if a post has been edited sometimes.

I do find it sort of useful, because there's no need to write 'Edit:' any more as long as you just leave a bit of a gap it's sort of obvious. But still it's annoying when you edit one little typo and it makes out that you've edited the whole post
