    Apple mentioned any more news on the fix? Last time I heard it was this:

    "Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone."

    *Apparently* someone phoned up Apple and asked about the problem and the rep on the phone said there may be a fix (iOS 4.0.1) as early as this Monday. As seen above its proven to be an OS bug, there is videos all over youtube regarding it - That's what I read on an Apple/Techie blog anyway.
