The difference is though, a train follows a set of tracks. An aircraft takes off at a good amount of speed and also travels at fast speed and if you hit any turbulence, surely it would be better if you are sat down in a seat.

If an airline is making shortcuts like--removing seats--I wouldn't feel comfortable flying with them for other reasons!
