2006 / 2007 and also 2010, because I enjoy my current position. Older members will generally choose a few years back, that's inevitable - the novelty of the forum wears off after you have been here for a long time, the same as anything else.

I personally think those times were best due to the people around.
i.e. Seacat, JackHb, Barkseh, Baving, Cortez, Smiddy etc

There was a better atmosphere between all departments and staff. It was more fun with Super Mods being able to abuse their power (in a good way).
i.e. edit polls, create threads under Jin's name or any other admins name in Spam. Now I don't think any super mods will dare do it.
