I was subject to racism on a bus from work once. The guy was pissed and he thought I was polish and said that I was taking all his jobs away. I don't really know how he thought I was though, I was just listening to my ipod.

When you can hear peoples music on the bus through their headphones, it can sometimes sound very different from what the song actually is. So maybe he thought your music sounded foreign/polish?

I've I remember correctly the song was german with Rammstein - Mein Hers Brennt . But it wasn't load, I tend to get really dirty looks off people if they hear me listening to it !

It might have had contributed to it, or he was just looking for someone to abuse . It wouldn't suprise me, given the town I grew up in.

no because i am from birmingham originating from WW2 and beyond so i don't think i have any ethnic groups in my genealogy. Plus where i live now, Guernsey, literally has about 3 "colored" people on it. I'm not ignorant to it and i'm not rasist just saying.

HOWEVER i do it all the time haha since there has been a massive intake of latvians and Portuguese people here i get confused all the time like there are none at schools but in restaurants etc
