I have 2 baseball bats near my bed so i'd take the biggest one and go down with it whilst telling my mum to ring the police. I also have some big scissors in my room so i'll keep them for back-up

I'd grab my phone and start ringing the police whilst sneaking into my brother's room which is right next to mine and wake him up. There's no chance I'd let him go downstairs on his own though even if he tried to make me stay upstairs.

I have a baseball bat in my room somewhere, I think it's behind my bed so I'd probably take that with me. Oh I'd also have to wake my mum up in the process and lock my dog in my room because I don't want her to get hurt.

I'd climb out of bed, slowly walk to the landing and look down stairs. Then I'd run downstairs grab my phone and rub back up (it's near the stairs). Call 999 then go downstairs with my iron (golf club) and beat the **** out of anyone down there then rub upstairs and lock myself in the bathroom.

Grab my phone ringing 999 get police and tell them i think someones in my house then i would grab my Knives from Under my bed (i was a trainee chef so got knives =] ) Then i would let my nan and gramp know and then i would walk down the stairs and yeh and if there was someone there i would tell the police.

You are all way braver than me. I would probably be too froze with fear to even move. I guess I would slowly reach for my phone trying not to make any sudden movements, and pretend to be asleep whilst phoning the police somehow. It's really hard to think about it, and I hope it never happens. I guess the only weapon I have would be the abillity to belly flop them or something, or smash something on them I guess pretty scary to think about

I'm sure I could SOMETHING in my room as a weapon... but either way, dad keeps the iron fire poker by my parent's bed and we could just grab the air rifle from his study if we needed to.

I would probably jump out of bed and grab my old rifle bayonet, as it would scare them more than a bat or some sort of hitting object. I would then wake up my parents or if I am the only one in the house I would probably start shouting and making a lot of noise and activity to try and scare them off. If they then came upstairs I would act like a mad man, swinging the bayonet around and saying I have called the police and that they're on the way. If the robber has a gun then I guess it's over for me. Of course that's all objective. No one knows how they will act in a situation until they have encountered such.

I wouldn't go downstairs at all. I'd try to ring the police and tell them what's happening, but if they came upstairs I'd just pretend to be asleep.
