I know Richie, but when we do things we get feedback OH HABBOXLIVE DJS ARE SO UNPROFFESSIONAL
**** professional radios, do you really think if it was legal for them to play swearing they would still block them out? because I don't. Habboxlive isn't radio one its an online radio, most online radios allow swearing unless they are useless sods trying to follow in the footsteps of fm radios (Which need to abide and block out swearing as its legally the correct way, habboxlive don't even have a broadcasting licence no mind rules from broadcasting companys).
HABBOXLIVE NEEDS TO BE MORE PROFFESSIONAL
so then if we go into swearing people will probably complain about that too
thats habbox for you, you'll always get a negative comment or someone who is always going to go against a decision. Any time I mention the djs need to be more professional, I mean speaking wise, talking over songs or cutting songs short because they get fed up with it.

Were not saying were proffessional Scott,
but thats what most people want and this just adds to it being unproiffessional making people moan more in future.
It must be a blue moon! For once I actually agree with you.We won't be allowing swearing in songs, at any time on the radio. It's completely unnecessary. The radio edits of songs sound fine and that is what professional radios across the country use. Our audience is very young, often younger than the forum and Habbox.com itself and swearing will, to them, be off putting not necessarily because they are offended by it but if I was 11 or 12 (as some of our listeners most definitely are) and my mother heard me playing rap music full of swearing I'd get the slipper (lol jk but you get what I mean).
You could say we could just get a little bit more lenient on the rules and not allow things like London Underground or whatever, but the fact is that allowing certain types of swearing in certain types of songs is very subjective and makes the rule incredibly unclear. It's either allow it or don't, and we're not going to.
It's a Habbo fansite, aimed at many different time zones, there is no need for excessive amounts of swearing, I'm sure the DJs are allowed to get away with the odd word here or there in songs, but any more and it just becomes unpleasant.
