even if i did want them, would you have them?? , and its not just about the music, its about what you do imbertween the songs. Djing is Easy, Keeping people entertained is not.Every show I have done latley i've played about two mainstream songs, as i'm trying to tackle this myself by playing songs that are forgotten or even a diffrent genre, so hopefully this will make you feel better on the whole uniqueness thing and I can tell some of the other DJs are trying aswell so just try and tune in were doing the best we can!
Maybe you can help us out by requesting some older songswe try and play requests, so maybe instead of requesting new songs request some of your old favourites that have been forgotten!
This is true It's very hard to keep 100 people entertained as each person is unique and prefer diffrent things.
Some listeners prefer laid back DJs who have fun on air, some prefer very immature whilst others prefer proffessional which is why we have a mixture of DJs with a mixture of DJing techniques to try our best to keep the listeners as entertained as possible.
Some listeners prefer lots of competitions where as some prefer just listening to music so we have times were theres alot more music and times when we have big competitions that involve the listeners.
Theres also times when the listeners prefer rock songs to hip hop or rnb, dance techno etc. which is why we try our best to get a mixture of DJs with diffrent music genres as a way of keeping listeners entertained for example I myself and a rather dancey person and prefer remix's and ubeat songs where as we have DJ Keri who loves her rock songs but we both try to play a mixture of all genres.
Most of the time if a listener requests a song some of us have the songs whereas sometimes we don't but we try our best to buy the music you guys request before our next show so if we don't have it then drop us a pm and remind us what you would like to hear and we could get it for you!
Habboxlive strives to make as many users happy as we possibly can although as I said each to their own![]()
I swear this is like the 10th thread I said this in but how come habboxlive djs always post in feedback threads saying 'I try my best' its not about you. I'm sure the quality of someones djing is taken into consideration before a promotion, senior djs are there to not only help about but to set an example, on and off air.

Obviously Richie I cannot comment on everyone therefore I can only speak in first person as myself, However as you can see I have involved other DJs too although just the same other DJs can come and comment themselves I cannot say oh well DJ Jammy is trying to do this and DJ Jess is trying to do that I can only say what i'm doing.I swear this is like the 10th thread I said this in but how come habboxlive djs always post in feedback threads saying 'I try my best' its not about you. I AM EXEMPLARY!I swear this is like the 10th thread I said this in but how come habboxlive djs always post in feedback threads saying 'I try my best' its not about you. Right, Theres many parts I agree and disagree in this post.
For a start, the title, Just no, you're not the manager, your not a senior. Dont try and place input where input is not needed. If Jess and Gems thinks that DJ Bethie deserves a shot at senior, It will be given, until then its up to them. Use a decent title next time. Making DJ Bethie a Senior DJ would have no effect on the music that everyone else plays.
Secondly I would like to say, how often do you listen to Habbox? I'm on most days (sometimes have periods of dissapearance) and if you actually listen my exact words are "I will not play mainstream music, If you ask for Tinie Tempah, Rhiannah or Eminem, you will be completely ignored" To see this, please do view the picture here: http://i35.tinypic.com/2n85veg.png
Yes, The DJ's in 2008 were great, and there are many different things that they have done compared to what is done now. I agree that many things need to be changed at Habboxlive and the music IS a main issue of the listener drop and ratings. This should be sorted, I cant do it alone, I try my best. Its a difficult time and without all of the DJ's participating in a scheme to make overplayed music not so overplayed we cant do much.
Next, The whole DJ team are teenagers. There is nothing we can do about employing teenagers, the whole site is based on teenagers. If you think you can do a better job, why don't you apply? Show us all how its done and then maybe we can do something about it together.
I agree, Habbox must be spiced up or we're going to the ground, currently, we're going absolutely nowhere very slowly. This isn't where, what, or how we wish to go but in all honesty, its exactly whats happening and everybody knows it. We need something to bring back the 300 listener mark and the current team are not doing so. I'm not pointing the finger at any DJ's, Staff or Management, I am a DJ and I know we need to get back to that stage.
I think you need to rephrase your comment or at least have the decency to admit your wrong. This "DJ Bethie is the only good DJ" attitude is pathetic. You really need to listen to all the DJs before you go ahead and try and name and shame them all under one category. I don't play mainstream for a reason, people get sick of it, we all know this. I remember the day I used to listen to Habbox for 10 hours a day. It was immense, fun, enjoyable and entertaining. Now, I don't listen if i'm not DJing because its the same old crap.
I'm going to now, compile a list of songs, send it to every DJ. Ask them to play 2 or 3 of the songs throughout the show that they pursue. Obviously this list would contain NO songs which would be of mainstream.
I hope that everyone, staff, listeners and criticises can help us get back to the listener rate that we used to have. I hope this answered your question.
Feel free to comment.

gonna be honest 9y you just contradicted yourself by saying "how often do you listen to the radio" and then saying "i don't listen unless i'm djing" just sayin' though.
i would quote you scott but it will take to much room, i admit im wrong in some parts, of my theory, but not all. and that picture is listed along a time of two shows.. after the 3rd show usually the songs get replayed, and yes i tune in most days, when i can.
"I'm going to now, compile a list of songs, send it to every DJ. Ask them to play 2 or 3 of the songs throughout the show that they pursue. Obviously this list would contain NO songs which would be of mainstream. "
thankyou, nice to see people acctuall do something with there authority. habbox needs staff like you.

Respect for Having a good feedback, (Y)
Many thanks. Yes I may have gone back on myself. Currently making my large list. This is gonna keep me up all night! Why not see If you can come on for one show? I think that should be a chance. Get some people to DJ. Guest shows. Guests on habbox. Many different things that could be done!
We want solutions, not problems.
Hows this looking?
Older? Newer? More popular? Less Popular?
