well for low lvl pure. Mage defenitly owns. Because he can hit like 10s at a lo lvl.
But for high lvl, melee[warrior] since they need good defense and mages dont have it.

Highest hit with mage is 30 . Mage arena spells max hit 30, the best ice ancient spell hits 30 . Fire wave hits 25 max, but you rarely ever hit that .
Mage is not very good to pk people who know how to pk properly, melee is the best .
With mage if some one is in Black Dhide (E.g. most people who are pking), then you will hardly hit them .
Range and mage need there armour to hit high (Dhide gives + ranged and mystic gives + mage), which gives melee an advantage as a melee can wear what ever armour there openent cant hit through . Although there are berksers and warriors which gives attack / strength bonus's and zammy/guthix books which give attack bonus, melee doesnt really need any extra armour to hit reasonably high - Making melee the best to pk with .
Most ranged pkers pk with mage shorts on rapid, and the max hit if they havent drunk any pots etc is only 19 .
Edit: Ranged / Mage can be good to pk with when used together, because you can entangle - Meaning the Melee wont be able to get to you and hit through your leather/ mystic .Last edited by nets; 08-08-2005 at 09:45 AM.
