How close are you to your dad?

lives 400 miles away, would rather work at christmasses than be at home with us, did bad stuff to my mum, hurt my brother nd so on
only speak to him physically once a year, then birthdays and christmas for obvious reasons

A lot closer than we used to be which I'm happy about. I only saw him a few times over a period of about 8 months (bad past) but see him once or twice a week now

yeah very close and i have never had any problems with him or anything like that and my parents are still together so yeah long may it continue :-)

Reasonably close, we don't really have much in common so we don't talk much, but I get on with him quite well. Nowhere near as close as my mum though .

I never lived with my dad, but i when in primary school i always used to go to his after school everyday untill about 6. When i started going to secondary school i used to just come straight home to get on HxF as fast as possible, but i used to try an make the effort to go up and see him atleast 2 nights a week. When he moved in with my older brother who lives just round the corner i used to pop in alot after school or at night.

I was always pretty close, despite not living with him, i never ever had an argument with him or he never got mad at me, he used to be pretty relaxed so there was nothing he would really get mad at, and i suppose i payed him back by behaving........ most of the time.

I think i favoured him over my mum, my mum is alot stricter and nags alot more, but i suppose she only wants the best for me (THEY ALWAYS SAY THAT ITS ALL LIES)

I'am fairly close to my dad because we have the same interests and I have the same job interest since he was in the Navy and thats were I plan to lead to. Also because my mum is disabled when I was younger it was my dad who was taking me out ect so it's only normal that I'm close to him.
