Anyone know what it's supposed to signify? They usually having some meaning behind them..

When I first saw it this morning I instantly thought something to do with colour-blindness (those charts you have to look for numbers in).. but it moves so that theory is out of the window

I heard it's to show off HTML 5 and only works with newer browsers, however according to HotelUser it uses Javascript so in that case I don't know, seems sort of pointless, but surprisingly fun.

The one yesterday was probably just showing how new browsers can use HTML5 and JS to provide a live and interactive Google, and apparently the logo today is signifying live search results.

It's the launch of Google Instant

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology...earch-launched

Now it uses AJAX, you don't need to keep changing pages when flicking through results. It also searches as you type, very impressive
