    It's quite a clever one when you think about it really, Habbo spend countless hours trying to educate their users on how to stay safe and list the most common ways users are scammed etc.. This however is the first time I have heard about a potential scam being done via text message. I imagine this will catch a few users out in the future!

    I would take a stab and say hes using a "pay-as-you-go phone 'cuz its untraceable"

    I agree, it's not that fool proof, if you get me. As you get credits via text. So a lot may fall for it.

    It's made using a free website host...at least most hackers buy a half-decent domain and put some effort into it. Although I agree it's clever in a dumb way. People text for credits, so they might believe it, although most numbers that charge money are like 5/6 numbers long and 88593 or w/e. So obviously using their real numbers is dumb.

    I just prefer the hey, give me your pass I'll clone your furni for you - scam. :L
