I know someone who got engaged a month after meeting them and they have been together now happy for 7 years with no problems. Don't worry about what your friends are doing it is their choice.

In my opinion, they are both adults and it is completely their own decision.

We all have our own personal idea of what age we should or shouldn't get married, but I think that it is separate to each person. This is why the law only sets a minimum age based on your mindset at that age, and not on when they feel the best time to get married is.

In my native country, England, it is set at 16, because they believe people over that age are responsible enough to make their own decision on it. In America it is 18, because they believe after that age it is up to each one personally.

I think if you want to get married and you are an adult, then go for it.
