I enjoyed it, and prefer it to Fable 2. I thought the storyline was much better, even if it was fairly short. I stuck to the good morality all the way through, completed the game and saved everyone. It did take time to save the money, but when it starts rolling in, it really starts rolling in.
7.5m gold in the treasury at the end, and now I'm on 12m gold in the space of a day.
All that is left now are the collectable quests and a couple others. Should be fairly easy.
Did you take money from the treasury and buy propertys? How did you raise so much?
r.i.p.
I have about the same. I started out playing the Lute :L Earned myself about 40,000. Bought some houses, repaired them, and raised the rent to highest. Then money comes in from that, then you just keep expanding each time money comes in whilst you play the game.
I got up to 7m in the treasury and i have 10m at the moment![]()
When I became King, I had like 15,000 gold. I didn't take anything out of the treasury because it would make the villagers dislike me. So I did a few jobs, got bored, bought some cheap shops/houses and did mini quests whilst money came in. I currently need 10 more guild seals to have all the Road to Rule chests (without having completed any of the collectable quests - books, gnomes, flowers).
I took advantage of the pawnbroker deals too, got lucky with clothing and weapons being bought @ 75-100% extra. As soon as I had 200k I bought a house in Millfields and put the rent to "high".
And now, I get 120k/5min. I don't want to buy any more because it's a pain in the arse to repair every single house.

Hiro, that's pretty good. I removed a lot of the money from treasury at start and invested in just about everything I could. I go through the cities (using the map) and buying them all and putting to high rent after repairing... I'll end up putting it all back in. Hope I get enough in the end.

I should also mention that I went to the Demon Door in Sunset House, it requires you to be King or Queen of Albion and you get 1,000,000 gold. That helped when buying expensive stores.Hiro, that's pretty good. I removed a lot of the money from treasury at start and invested in just about everything I could. Finally 1k'd it last night :3
Ahh. Totally forgot about Demon doors giving money and stuff.
Every achievement? Nice! what's next?

Time to wait for DLC/finish off a few side quests. The Prophetic Hermit, Framed for Murder and The Debt are the only side quests I have left, I'm assuming I'll get a follow-on from The Prophetic Hermit though. I'm on 240 guild seals too.
Don't really have need for cash, got about 20mil gold. >_<
