Christmas is a time for inspiration - a neutral ground, looking back on the past and forward to the future.

To me Christmas is a loving and caring time for families to spend time together, to connect and bond and have the best time that they can have.

Christmas is a time where everyone in the world can be joyful and put aside any differences in the spirit of giving.

When I was little, it used to mean excitement, presents, cards, christmas spirit. But as you know, I am Russian and in Russia we do not have Christmas. Christmas was made up, well not made up, but I am a Russian Orthodox (slightly different views to Christians) and we believe that Jesus was born on a different date. Our Russian Christmas is on New Year, so the way you English guys celebrate Christmas, we celebrate the New Year!
