i'd go for a bb+ipod touch. bbm is like the most useful thing for me, most of my friends have them as well so i barely text anymore. and i don't really like iphones because me and touch screens don't have a very good relationship

you can be my daddy
This. Blackberry users are like, "I R B3TTA WIV MA BBM MESSANGAR." Well no. You can do that on the iPhone and Android phones as well and it's very free, and it even works from iPhone TO Android and Android TO iPhone.i have a blackberry, i've had it a while now, and i hate it!
i've had it since june 10, nd my friend has an iphone which she got for christmas.
her phone is much better, and you shouldn't think of blackberry messenger, you should just get an iphone and download pingchat! because iphones, androids, and blackberrys can send files, messages, pictures etc to eachother for free. but you need to get insurance, cos they are both expensive and easily damaged.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
ONE WORD: BBM.
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
At least I could read the multi coloured writing ><
Robbie, just bare in mind what people have said in this thread, but it really does depend what you would use the phone for. If you want music too, don't get a blackberry (obviously you could ALSO pay for an iPod Touch). If you want good quality, music, apps etc don't get one!
You can continue this list on forever though. If you want an actual screen resolution don't get one, if you want a multitouch screen don't get one, if you want fluid updates don't get one, if you want a good browser don't get one, if you want actual operating system don't get one, if you don't want to be constantly reminded that RIM takes UI designing tips from Windows 95, don't get one.At least I could read the multi coloured writing ><

Seriously, dont get a blackberry. Comparing a blackberry to an iPhone is like comparing a Seat to a Lamborghini.
Blackberry's are rubbish and thats in no way biased, all my friends have Blackberries and they are constantly complaining about how slow & crap they are, not only that, but its constantly breaking. The only decent thing about it, is BBM, which isnt that great in all fairness and you have to pay for it seperately too.
Whereas the iPhone as everything a BB has, but x100 better quality, more apps & x100 faster. Seriously, my birthdays coming up in March and my mum wanted to get me a BB and I said no, for the reasons I listed above but because everyone has them now, its nothing new anymore, its just phone which is over-rated. I asked her to get me an iPhone, but I am not sure if she is![]()
COME ON BLACKBERRY FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WONT REGRET IT PROMISE
This. Please for the love of god don't get a Blackberry you WILL regret it. I have one on contract and I'm upgrading to an iPhone early this week because I'm sick of it, facebook app is awful, bluetooth never works right, no worthwhile apps, freezes A LOT, mines flimsy, not worth the boredom. Is this a serious question?
Blackberry - most useless redundant piece of plastic and metal in the existence of the world. Has hardly any apps and horrible web browser.
iPhone - has thousands and thousands of free apps, multitouch high resolution screen and amazing browser.
A better question would have been, in what ways is a Blackberry better than an iPhone - because you'd be hard pressed to find any answers.![]()
no
my bb hardly ever freezes, my ipod touch probably does more than the bb
Theyre not the best but theyre not as bad as you say they are, many young people who want to talk to their friends easily can through BBM. It is hands down absolutley amazing and really really easy to use. The internet viwing isnt as good as other phones but it's very fast and easily accessable
But if I could go back I would have got an iphone. As BlackBerrys, apart from the BBM are realllyyy overrated
