Well i suppose it matters wheter or not that thread could be accessed again in the future.

However moving threads to an unnaccesable part of the forum is pretty much deleting them in all but name really. The only difference is that gm might access the thread for whatever reason in the future.

No, it's Moving the thread. Deleting means it no longer exists, Moving means it is moved somewhere else. The distinction is pretty clear because they use the "Move thread" button. It's still there if they choose to move it back into public view, need to refer to it, or if the DB needs to draw the information for some reason.

Also, the reason "Delete" isn't in the T&C (not the rules) is because a later bullet point is

We will not delete user accounts, user threads, posts or otherwise submitted content to our web site.
Which is in there for a variety of reasons, most notably users who come back with wild and crazy stories to demand that we delete their account/thread/posts. Having this and including "delete" in the first point would be contradictory, and the current (not ever deleting) is more along the lines with Habbox policy. So while I understand the caution in just including it to cover our backs, it would directly contradict clearly stated policy in the other direction.

Anyway, we have the standard corporate "cover your back" term that we reserve the right to change these T&C without any notice at any time etc (not that we wouldn't give notice, it's mostly a legal protection as we went over in a thread not too long ago).

I realise that. What i was saying was since members can't even see the thread anymore, you might as well call it deleted for everybody but gm.

And I disagree. Deleted means that it no longer exists on the forums database. Moved means that it still exists on the forums database, somewhere.
