It seems he's using you, as he tried a kiss with you and now he's ignoring you? If that kiss was passionate he wouldn't be so stupid to ignore you.

Seems like theres 3 things going on in that guys head, he's either:
- Trying to play hard to get/make you want him, obviously doing it too much.
- Just getting some where he can (made out with ya, doesnt want to you to get more attached to him so hes bolting now)
- Doesnt like you like that after all.

You should either confront him about it and just get it out the way, or just move on wit yaself.

Happy now He's apologised to me for everything he's done, and he's realised what he's done, and we're okay now I think I was mostly upset because I couldn't talk to him, not because of what he did if you get me?

You know year 10s thoroughly how? Genuine curiosity not taking the piss or anything.

And in my opinion, he literally wanted a snog with nothing else but I'd need to know what hes been like in the past to give a proper opinion.

although he was your friend, it seems he really isn't worth your time. It's hard to get over someone your sure you have feelings for and it will take some time. Maybe if you really believe you and him could have a chance together, tell him how you feel and tell him what he did really confused you. It's a long shot but you did say you had known him for thee years, and whether he likes you that way or not, He should still be nice enough to preserve the friendship you guy's have. Goodluck.
