It was hardly rude like "oh shut up". He could of been a lot worse, and she had it coming interrupting mid-speech.Not this time round, but I am talking about in general. It was a weak response, she was right about what she said and the response he gave, I'd expect of a 5 year old when they got proved wrong 'oh shut up. so, so what?' - his response was a bit like that not in terms of the meaning, but in terms of the type of response.
