1. They are epic.
2. They dress cool.
3. They appear out of nowhere.
4. They are in Spyro 3 (most epic game ever)
5. Jackie Chan, who has a cool accent, is one
6. They can just dodge pirates swords.
7. They can float in mid-air.
8. They kik ass.
9. There are ninjas cats!!!!!!!!!

Let's close this thread. The only reason people think pirates are pretty awesome is because of Johnny Depp and the drunk pirate character he portrays. On the other hand, ninjas can't be seen. You ever play those ninja games and say "OMG EPIC COMBO"? And I *know* there's no decent pirate game. The based-on-movie-thing? That's horrible.
