    I think the only people who are against homosexuality are people like the religious fanatics or the same people who don't like black people, the Jewish, woman's rights and so on. So it's not a terribly big issue at all because everyone generally hates people like this who hate homosexuality and woman's rights

    I totally disagree, women barely have kitchens no mind rights.

    You all seem to talk about "gays" as if we're a different species..... Now i know we do have secret abilities and powers but it doesn't mean we're completely different...

    I've seen X-Men and support the idea of a mutant register, so I think we should all vote on a Gay Register incase you take away our children and threaten humanity. Just incase. We're not segregating you, just merely thinking about ourselves

    That said, I don't get these people (David Pickup?) who think homosexuality is a disease or illness, but I guess it depends how you see it. Crazy people go to psychics to remove a desire for chocolate, for example, so maybe he's just saying that gay desires can be kept under raps, rather than cure all homosexuals? It doesn't sound pleasant either way, but just a small thought.

    I think many people just get the wrong idea about being gay. It isn't a choice, you just grow up attracted to people with the dangly bits instead of the bumpy bits, theres not much more to it. Also, there's no doubt this David is a "man of god".

Unfortunately it is individuals such as these whom make themselves look silly trying to do nothing else but attract the attention of others in which the negative stereotypes of homosexual men originate. It's not fair to people who actually are just regular people that are gay because they're labelled. Unfortunately it just comes down to there being an idiot within every crowd
    don't many straight males act the same? you know, talk about sex/porn etc all the time lol they're all guys after all it's not seen as looking for attention when straight guys do, it's just seen as *natural* so why when gay people do it's suddenly attention seeking? are they not allowed to talk about their sexual desires too? plus maybe they like to read gay stories or watch films because they can relate to it or get a better understanding of it. i'm not exactly for gay parades etc but it's nice that they can celebrate having freedom/rights, it's not harming anyone. yeah gay guys CAN be over the top but it's just like having a female friend really. & i don't really have experience with lesbian friends bar 2 or 3 but they're just normal. rarely hear people complain about lesbians being in your face:rolleyes:

    i'd also love to see him "cure" homosexuality in animals... oh homosexuality, it's so unnatural.... he actually reminds me of the guys who are so in denial about being gay that they have to **** it off every time they can. much more annoying and in need of a cure than homosexuals who flaunt their homosexuality

    Oh so you lot can't breathe fire then? That's all I've heard.

    If he's using religion to propagate his own agenda then it's not doing anyone favours except his own financial condition. It's so horrible that so many people just mouth off about the G man like he's a barrier against any insult or accusation.

    My point was that exactly. That some people are like that naturally, but it's the ones who act a certain way, abide by the stereotype on purpose to get attention, that ruin it for everyone else.

    Thats what this equality agenda has done, its the same with blacks and other so-called 'communities' - it turns it into us vs them and it arises from the likes of Equality bills where one group has preference over another (in terms of hate speech and so forth). Not only has it been the politicians peddling this though, many people in general (gay or not) have fallen for it and this is where it has led to.

    This is one of my favourite quotes and it can be used for a range of topics when discussing 'groups' or 'communities';

    “Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than individuals . . . By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called “diversity” actually perpetuate racism. Their obsession with racial group identity is inherently racists . . . we should understand that racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of individual liberty.” - Ron Paul

    The same applies to homosexuality.

    I tend to ignore these discussions for that reason. Gay, straight or bi, it's natural. There's not much to discuss other than mindless opinions, accusations and experience. Is this David man a religious individual? I wouldn't be surprised. These people are quite interesting to watch, but at the end of the day you realise what they are doing isn't really useful

    I think I understand what you're trying to convey. These Equality Bills aren't fixing problems, they're just creating a "society against a sub-society" when if homosexuals were apart of society these rules would not need to exist. The Equality Act is an interesting read, it isn't necessarily about homosexuals and bisexuals as the law is about sexuality in general, but it is often used by homosexuals because the rule is nearly always applied to them a they're the ones fighting for it. A confusing discussion, but the Act does cause inequality at the same time.
