Lady Gaga talks about A new music video

Not arsed, this has grown on me horrifically! It's such a good choice and sounds immense on the radio! It's a different sound for her too which is always a good thing. If an artist releases songs that sound the same over and over again, chart success diminishes (a la Britney - who I will always adore)

the choice has grown on me

1) it's a great song, always loved it
2) the video sounds amazing
3) it has crossover appeal on US radio, can be played on country, hot ac and pop/top 40 radio which will be good for it's success (the billboard hot 100 counts radio play and sales unlike the UK chart)
4) it will show people another side to gaga that they didn't know existed if they haven't looked at her album tracks and unreleased material

Does anyone have any photos of the set for the video?

The video is actually really incredible…The premise of the video is that I walked all the way from New York in this kind of almost wintry outfit; I’ve walked all the way from New York to Omaha, Nebraska to get to my man. So I’m walking down the highway and my feet are kind of bloody. There’s this fork in the road and it’s four different ways that I can go, but there’s lots of other things that can happen. All sorts of strange things that occur and it has a lot to do with bridging my past and my future as an artist. Living halfway between reality and fantasy, so there’s these sort of strange things that begin to occur in a barn in the middle of Springfield.

sounds friggin confusing but i am intrigued. also, gaga as 'yuyi' the mermaid will appear and it's rumoured that some of the mermaid footage shot for the original EoG video will be included in this video.

I think it will either be Hair or You and I (they're the most popular ones, from what I've heard). I love both those songs, so I'm not too fussed which one it is :3

The wait for the “Yoü and I” music video is almost over! The highly-anticipated clip will make its debut on MTV this Thursday, August 18th at 7.50 p.m. EST. Following the premiere, Lady Gaga will make a special announcement from New York City.

Directed by the Haus of Gaga and choreographed by Laurieann Gibson, “Yoü and I” promises to be one of Gaga’s best works to date.

Sounds really exciting though I'm not sure if staying up at 10 to 1 in the morning of Friday is something I'm going to do. I really hope this is one of Gaga's best videos yet, it sure sounds like it.
