China are ahead economically, but they do not have control over the economy in general - the USA does (dollar standard blah blah blah). I think China might be the largest super power, but the power is in the West and in the hands of the US.

A browser is an application used to access web sites on the Internet, and a search engine is something used to locate content across the 'Net, right?

BTW I'd like to state that you can't assume everyone in that video was American; it was taken in NYC which is a popular place for tourism and hosts thousands of people from around the world on a given day, not to mention it is the home of the United Nations, just sayin'.

It is, and the world is filled with super powers :S The British Empire was a super power, China is a super power as it has a huge hold over the world economy (woo, exploiting their cheap labour ), Japan is also a super power, the British Commonwealth, the USA... The list is endless and pretty flexible The USA hold most of the cards with regards to controlling the world economy, but China IS a super power as it has a lot of hold over the its own economy, people, industries etc. etc. Heck, people fear it because of the powers it possesses

It's close, but it isn't a super power. Brazil will overtake us before China.
