I'm confused on what you are saying here. Habbox.com has had a number of seasonal layouts throughout the years? In Verison 5 we had: Easter, Halloween, Christmas and so on. In Version 6 we already had it up as a summer layout but now if you go to it you will see it has been adapted to fit with the forum halloween skin.
I do remember the V5 Easter skin & I thought the V6 skin was just the main skin but yeah... I've just seen the new skin for Habbox.com looks very nice... congrats to all who were involved in deigning & producing the skin

it's niiiiice!! the only problem i had is that i usually have my font size at 83% and have had to go up to 100% but that's not a big deal really haha i like the side bar, agree with kirst there's a few too many new posts buttons. too much choiiiiiceeee.

also, just a future point if the sidebar stays. since we have comps and events on there, is there room for a hxl button?

I'm sticking with using the site skin mainly cos not really a fan of the grey. Just a personal preference as it obviously fits in with the halloween theme so it's not really a complaint. its a nice job. I think an 'image toolbar' tends to stand out more than one with just words so well done on that

ooo! Although I won't be using it cuz' I hate change, it is a fantastic new skin and I can really see why people like it. The little toolbar at the side is an excellent idea and I really like the "top posters" feature (I daresay that may create some competition and increase posting too). Naturally, the Events frame is a welcomed addition and it compliments the new Habbox.com skin so well too.

    Nice work guys! xo

Quite like it but it's a little too bright, especially considering it's supposed to be halloween themed. Kinda... thick, too. Always loved sidebars on froums as it makes for easy access instead of having to scroll for ages so maybe that is something you should consider adding to some of the other skins!

Looks fantastic, I like the nav bar David - where did you get the idea to use that on the forum from Another new skin that looks absolutely fantastic and not only by looks but also tech-wise, much like the easter skin although it's concerning that this is the only tech-advanced skin Habbox has had since then, although I think this could be the sign of things to come.
