Had one here for the past 5 years, can't remember if I had one in my old school but here I use it to contact teachers etc when I don't want to use my embarrassing email they use the gmail thingy too although now they're removed the chat on it no one uses it....

I've had one since year 7 but it's only recently started to be used to send things such as work to us

I got a school one for 6 form, only so that we could use it to apply for uni stuff as it looked better (apparently)

I've got a uni one now, only ever use it to get spammed by the uni :p

Had one since year seven at my old high school which was really good - it had Outlook on the PCs and I used it all the time to spam fellow class mates and to get the weekly news from the school. Then I moved to a public school and their e-mail system was the most rubbish thing ever. It wasn't even proper and my username was the longest thing ever - only used it once I think. Now, at college I use mine all the time because I have my e-mails sent to my phone and we get the student bulletin, college news, traffic problems and stuff - it is a sub-domain from live.com - (Hotmail), but in some ways it's good because we get SkyDrive etc.

So now there's no getting away from them then is there? haha! Our school don't have them no, but some teachers could be like " Can I have your email addresses to forward you such and such work? " Of course my reply would be '' No, I don't have an e-mail. "

My school has one, and its sent through our school website accounts that teachers created for us. Its actually quite interesting, briefs you with weekly info.
