Just to add on, if they actually put stuff on the burger but isn't on the burger they actually sell then that would be false advertising.

I've heard about this with other foods, such as bread being covered in marmite to make it look golden. At least with McDonald's they don't alter the ingredients.
As has been said before, everything goes through Photoshop these days and the people who are complaining about it are probably still eating it? It's not even illegal anyway because they've kept the same ingredients..
If you hate it that much, don't eat it.
Oh well, happens with a lot of stuff. On items such as ready meals, the food is actually cold and sprayed with "stuff" before being placed as an image on a box so that it glistens and stuff.
This doesn't really bother me, don't like McDonalds or much fast food tbh.

I am very hungry now...
food photograph. not surprised, people always do that to any kind of food for magazines and etc. who cares? the ingredients are still the same and it's still edible but it just doesn't look so good. if you wanna eat a perfectly made burger then wait for a few hours or do it yourself

not surprised at all, same with all the burger king stuff.![]()
You're still getting the same thing, they just glorify it on the images for obvious reasons. Interesting read though.

I've left, but I still visit sometimes!
I agree with the people who have said you still get the burger you ordered.
i'd prefer to look at that burger any day of the week, it looks so much more appetising, but tastes no different![]()
