Last night there was a massive moth in my living room, so I sprayed it and it flew around crazily while I stood in the doorway of the dining room. It flew towards me so I slammed the door shut and ran to the back of the room - it only managed to fly directly through a small gap, trapping me in my kitchen!
I panicked and was literally cornered as it flew around a mere metre in front of me; swirling around, probably half-dead and half-mad. I stood there with the bug spray facing it, ready to spray if it ever got near me. I had never been so terrified.
It fell to the ground and walked somewhere. I thought it was dying, but I didn't want to take any risks so I ran out of the dining room and went upstairs for about ten minutes. When I came down, I couldn't find its corpse anywhere...
This morning, I found it ... alive.
My mum crushed it with kitchen roll and threw it in the bin. An hour later, she went to take the rubbish out - the moth flew out of the bin! It managed to escape and go into hiding before anything could be done.
Another hour later and my mum found it on the side of the fridge. She picked it up with kitchen roll again, and this time released it outside...
Lesson learnt: Moths do not die and are really, really scary.

The baby cat I got from the street is blind, but even if it looks really bad now that he doesn't have one eye and the other one is half blind, I still love her so much, and she is so amazing.. it doesn't even matter if she's blind..
I have never understood why people are afraid of moths? I think they're cute tbh.
OT: I learned what "hyperbole" means.

16. Never bothered trying to find out what it meant beforehand. I only learnt the word from the song "These Words" by Natasha Bedingfield.
OT: Not to care so much.
