i can't really think of any because i had it easy (though obviously i didn't 'appreciate' my job and got fired FROM MY OWN FAMILY BUSINESS)

    - right no this is the most annoying. if you're over 9 you have to pay full price for your meal and if you're under it's half price so you ALWAYS get those ***** with kids who are like 13 and they're like NO THE KIDS ARE ALL 9 like come on really stop being an idiot but then we have to let them off with it anyway because it's not like we can go and prove it. pisses me off though, scroungers
    - errrr once we had someone ordering a delivery when we about to close so we're like no sorry then they're like NO WHY NOT so i got bored and hung up and they kept ringing back to annoy me being horrible on the phone
    - when people drink half their drink then they're like "my drink is flat i want a new one" oh it took you that long to notice
    - KIDS who beg/demand a lollipop like we give EVERY kid a lollipop there is no need to walk over and scream at me for one
    - people to take like a massive handful of the complimentary mints, it looks ridiculous and they're more expensive than you think
    - MASSIVE parties of like 30 who don't leave a tip afterwards, i'm not gonna demand one but it's actually so ******* annoying to handle massive tables because they're extremely messy and getting them drinks is x10 the hassle of a table of four
    - people who come in to use the toilet honestly
    - anyone who stands in front of you when you're holding loads of drinks go away
Always have courage and be kind

i work in a party/costume shop so people are fairly annoying.

    - people opening costume packets even though there are a million signs saying to ask someone to do it for you
    - same as tara with people giving you their card to put in the machine for them..
    - people putting things back in the wrong places
    - people ringing up asking the opening times. LOOK ONLINE PLS
    - the amount of fluff and stuff that sticks to the carpet around the fitting rooms
    - the way they bring up too much stock and it's all falling off the hooks constantly
    - how they changed the angle of the cameras so its harder for me to look at my phone now
    - travellers coming in and having to follow them everywhere they go
    - the tiny kitchen which is barely big enough for one person
    - people asking if there's something in another size because it isnt on the shelf
    - little kids running around with balloons and getting the strings all tied up

    cake

So many complaints I can't imagine moaning so much (despite what seems obvious on here ) I'm far too relaxed when doing voluntary work and when I was an audio/visual technician that was stressful but lovely, mainly because the elderly are amazing

I guess I'll have to take the step to actual paid work, then I'll have something to complain about. Heaven forbid.

me and my friend always did it at lunch at school, but then would go to sainsburys after school so it was pointless

I can imagine that I've studied Retail and all I got from the module was that retail employees are treated worse than those dealing with the bins in the High Street outside

yeah it sucks. take today, some woman asked for change of a 50 note but it's sunday meaning were low on change as we've not been to the bank since friday AND its a bank holiday weekend, so i told her im sorry I couldn't change it unless she bought something and she went INSANE. my manager came to my rescue by coming over (she was shouting) and saying to her 'this is not a bank'

    I LOVE MY MANAGER
so i should probably get back to work

oh yeah of course, there are some genuinely lovely people out there who ask how i am/how's my day or to have a nice day. little things like that make a huge difference. I'd say it's about 60% normal/don't say anything customers then 40% just plain rude or don't say a word
