We have lots of door-to-door carol singers where we live and my mum is a right Scrooge and just slams the door in their faces
I like their singing but I always feel awkward standing in the door in my pyjamas or something similar listening to "Good King Wenceslas looked out on his feet of Steven". Don't want to correct them

Only one time when I was about 9 years old, and I only did so because a girl who live on my street who I liked at the time (and who liked me!) was going it too.
