It all depends on what you actually look forward to. If you only look forward to the presents, then yes, the excitement will go.

because we think of logic now. Hey look a cold month where people die of hypothermia each year where we are apparently being watched over by a fat guy in a suit while we sleep. We get presents from people who spend there earnings to make us happy sometimes we don't even want the present. My grandma who had a serious knee operation is still trying to make me happy by sending me money for a new guitar but maybe it's unfair for her to give me money..just seems wrong
But yea christmas spirit goes with age methinks

Yeah, after he edited his post.

and P A I N T your body on me
i'd say i get more excited for different things now that i'm older. although the 'magic' isn't there there's still so much more for me to get excited about, aha
I love Christmas
It’s the only day of the year I eat a full English breakfast with all the family, as I tend to skip breakfast any other day. No lunch for me, but feeling full can happily wait for a late Christmas turkey dinner and yes with Yorkshire puddings too.
The wrapping paper, ribbons and sticky tape all over the carpet, as we all unwrap. Yes I am still a big kid at heart, but now I find that the greatest pleasure is in giving and not just receiving and watching the surprised faces as gifts are opened.
Christmas for me hasn't really changed, I still get excited haha.
It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!
Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them.
I so envy you!I love Christmas
