I agree that some younger people might not know the backstreet boys and it could be a bit out of their age range tbf, I only heard of them for the first time like 2months ago when some vlogger mentioned a song by them lmao

Then again, they did have puss in boots campaign before and I imagine most (not all) of the older people on habbo wouldnt have enjoyed that.

Puss in boots is so different. Older people can relate as it is a movie that has just been released and they could have kids or family members that enjoy it, or previously have saw Shrek. These movies are current and weren't released 10years ago like backstreet boys.

A child can still (ok "teen") go and listen to the backstreet boys if they want, there is no form of expiration date. Puss in boots might have been much more current, but there is nothing stopping current players from listening to the backstreet boys 'getting into them'. IIRC the amount of habbo who are 18+ = 10% (probably more cause im sure that's a 2011 figure and everyone i meet is old I swear) so they are likely to know this band too.

Yeah they could have picked someone more current like ergh idunno 1D off top of my head, but this isn't an appalling choice.
