    But of course they'll complain like hell if another member of staff does it when they're attending

    But yeah on that same link I don't know why some of the games with absolutely zero votes are still popping up all the time - they might be easy to host but if your job is to entertain people and not just sit around feeling popular because someone's in your room surely you ought to be making an effort to do the more interactive events that people actually enjoy. Chain game I see all the time yet zero votes, dhmw/pod racing still happens a lot with zero votes, various fridge games also unpopular but common, and the only reason I can think for it is that they're easy to host

    Ohhhh the one with like 2 separate room bits yeah that is much more fun than a line of 50 dice that no-one can win so he doesn't have to give out prizes ever

    Although I agree with this, I wouldn't agree with what you are saying about chain game, it was only single choice for a start, so clearly anyone voting for that also likes trivia games too so would have just voted for trivia anyway and anyone who voted for trivia probably likes it too. Wouldn't a "what games do you find boring/dislike" multiple choice probably suffice more for working out what people should host less?

    i definitely think some events organisers need to host a wider variety of events, especially considering the recent feedback we've had. events like don't roll a six and bingo (as well as the others) need to stop being hosted as much, especially now that hxss is around the corner. if we're aiming to attract more users we need to make sure events are fun and less tiresome and tedious. idk about any other eo but the events that are pretty much based on rolling a dice aren't fun to host so i can't imagine they'd be fun to play. it's not as if we haven't got a long list of events that are available to host (with instructions) in the staff handbook lol

    I don't think a lot of the hosts come away from their comfort zone, I mean Jade @Foregetfuhlbought in Heaven or Hell which was amazing, bought it back and got it really going nice event and really fun and enjoyable to play but then you have other hosts that stick to the same events like Bingo, Roll A 6, Higher Or Lower never see any of the old SuperMarket Sweep, Whats The Time Mr.Wolf and many others even snake retro version was good where you rolled the dice and the mats where on the floor telling you where to go 2 back 2 forward etc.etc. I don't think this is why there is much involvement and activity with Habbox Events, HFFM do a lot of events with Radio and In-client I think this is what Habbox is lacking some motivation and determination from the staff themselves because when I go to the events it is just the same! I know this may strange but the appearance of the room will determine if the player wants to join in the game or not! HFFMs rooms are remarkable absolutely outstanding and you look at some of the EO's event rooms in Habbox quite frankly they are appalling to look at a few pieces of furni to make an event and a few dice no real VIP area, you look at @Cassiieee; Her event rooms are just remarkable she puts a lot of effort in to the rooms she builds and gives it some thought! Yes not everyone can have great rooms like it or have the credits to fuel it but you have a Habbox Events Manager for a reason to help you with your rooms! They have rooms of furni that can be used for events even if it's an odd sticky to explain rules!

    On a whole I think the Events Dept. needs a real think and sit down with their staff to try and come up with some sort of order and organisation because even the Managers and the Staff don't speak there is no involvement with the staff and Manager. HabboxLive there are Skype calls messages nearly 24/7 events everyone just stays quiet until something outbreaks like a argument then the whole teams go *Kaboom*

    Habbox Events Managers @Smurfed-; @Bolt660;

    i wouldn't say it's the fact that our events room are appalling because most of them are alright, but what i do think is that some hosts are too afraid to change their room around and use a different layout for a different event. from what i've seen quite a few people stick to a simple room layout and stick to simple games like bingo, don't roll a 6, etc. like you said previously, it's very rare you see anyone change their room layout to host something on a larger scale like find the furniture or supermarket sweep - probably because it involves a little more effort than placing pods and holodice. i'm not saying that these events are never hosted though because that isn't true, it would just be nicer for a little more variety (which is what we're working on at the moment).

    oh and i'm not sure why you think events management and staff don't speak because that isn't true at all. we have a group conversation on skype and those that choose to get involved are involved. as well as that there's the spam thread which every department has and ours is pretty much used everyday.

    Since You've said quite a bit here I'll reply to each point separately

    To be honest I don't think the events variation is to much of a problem at the moment. It has improved over the past few months but yes there is still room for a lot of improvement. We do need a lot more skill games which is something we're consonantly encouraging however we'll have to take a different approach to this because it obviously isn't working. I'll be talking to Martin and our two seniors about this when I get home from work.

    I don't think this is why there is much involvement and activity with Habbox Events, HFFM do a lot of events with Radio and In-client I think this is what Habbox is lacking some motivation and determination from the staff themselves because when I go to the events it is just the same! I definitely agree with what you said about the rooms, quite often I go to games that aren't related to Habbox or fansites in general and when I see a poor layout it doesn't encourage me to stay. Credit goes to @Cassiieee; @Civilisation; @Inkwell; @JACKTARD; @Jurv; and @Comity; who have amazing rooms and always go for something different. With what you said about the manager helping with rooms, whenever needed I always try my best to supply the EO's with furni if they don't have it. Unfortunately I'm not made of money. Believe me if I could give every EO amazing furniture to create amazing rooms I would.

    Habbox Events Managers @Smurfed-; @Bolt660;

    What do you mean when you say order and organisation? Myself and Martin are always talking to our staff, whether that's in the spam thread or on Skype, we have a staff spam chat on skype that is constantly used. I know what you said about arguments used to be the case especially around Easter but this has improved massively.

    The title is bothering me a lot

    o/t I don't think there's a problem with habbox events. From what I can see from the events I have been attending it is actually doing better at the moment and people just like nit picking.
