See this is what I don't understand, how can she have been a role model? what has she ever done or said that is at all memorable (that wasn't completely stupid) - in terms of her politics with LGBT, i've watched her speech in Washington DC and it was flat and boring.

Just don't get the buzz about her.

Just because you don't see how she could be a role model doesn't mean other people can't consier her one. She's no role model of mine but I say there are crazy amount of people who look up to her. You and I may see this as irresponsible and unacceptable behaviour but others may see it as her going and doing what she wants and not being afraid of what people think and someone who accepts themselves.

Again what makes her different from a porn star its an actual question. People call porn stars degrading and bad for doing things sexually but when someone who's a star does it it's suddenly art, liberating etc. I'm sure Lady Gaga could have full sex on a stage and her fans would call it art or something.

Agreed - let's be honest, she originally got noticed because of her wacky "style"/promotion techniques (depending on how much of a cynic you are!)
