My step-father has lung disease due to smoking. Hearing him cough all the time makes me cringe. Smoking is terrible, I will NEVER start.

I don't smoke and haven't even tried a cigarette for reasons of principle - that said, I do like the smell.

I used to smoke at school because all my friends did. I don't smoke now and haven't for years. I wouldn't in the future either.
