    Michael Jackson wasn't guilty.

nah I have no plan on banning it. If I were to start banning songs, I may as well say we should be Justin Biebs for taking drugs and being a bad role model, Miley Cyrus for the promotion of ****iness etc. Although I wouldn't mind banning the two above artists because I dislike them highly, I don't. Obviously this baby thing is much more extreme, but it's a band, not a solo artist, on top of the fact that none of the songs mimic anything bad and are actually much more sterile than many of the crappy artists auto tuning their way with crappy hits nowadays.

No, because he was only 1/3 of the band, and though he was the lead singer the other guys sadly have to be associated with what he did and they made the music too.

Though I get why people feel uncomfortable.

Literally said in my post that its completely different... I know it's disgusting, sick and much more but just because he has done it doesn't mean that the bands music should be banned

Yes, because smoking a spliff and attempting to rape a baby are pretty much the same thing..

Don't say stuff like this in public - hardly a good way to get relations up in your department.

Anyway, don't ban them; the guy is a disgusting vile excuse for a human being; but that doesn't mean you should stop listening to the entire bands music; sure, he will earn royalty money when people buy/listen to it; but somehow I don't think he'll be out of jail very soon to actually enjoy that.

painfully stupid and not comparable in the slightest. no u wouldnt "may as well" ban them as well because u banned a baby molesters music :S

COMPLETELY on another planet ends of the spectrum. it would be perfectly reasonable and understandable to ban the lost prophets music e.g. as HMV have done. but EXTREME and prudish to ban those artists music for ur lame ass reasons

yeah idk on one hand it's not fair on the other band members but on the other hand, he was the lead singer + always in the videos n most popular etcccc it would be diff if he was just a drummer who u can throw out the band lol their songs weren't that bad omg loved last train home, last summer, 4am forever, rooftops etc I will prob still listen to them cause like Tom says i don't think there's any hidden meanings about raping babies in them (+ maybe the songs were before he even thought about it). there could be a million artist out there who do terrible things tht we don't kno about. I wouldn't protest if it was taken off tho
