How can I even take responsibility for something that wasn't my fault? It's not like I woke up and thought "Oh, I'll get hacked today, that'll be my mission."

The best I could do is use a password I thought no one would know and set security to questions. I really don't understand how it's my fault for getting hacked and why everyone is basically saying it is.

The real mystery that you should be concerned about is how the hell did they hack your account in the first place. If I were you i'd try to improve security on your accounts, whether that be multiple emails, different passwords, not givinng people answers to possible security questions (e.g. name of first pet, mother's maiden name), etc. There's no way in finding out who hacked you and why, the only thing you can do is prevent it from happening again.

I've changed my password to something completely different now, and my security questions are something I can hardly remember myself, that's really the best I can do for my account.

I think that rule is good to be honest. I see why you was allowed to be unbanned but in other cases it makes sense. You must take reasonability for your account... unless Habbox staff hacked into your forum account and got your password lmfao!

I'm pretty sure that's the reason it's in place. Although it's definitely not your own fault if you get hacked, your account is still your own responsibility. It's very difficult for hackers to get into your account if you have a strong password (and a strong password on the email that your account is linked with), don't click/go to any links on Habbo in case they're scam sites and don't give out your password.

Well they couldn't trade any furni because they couldn't get through the security questions which is lucky for me, but they spoke to a few people in messages which is how I learnt that I had been hacked. :L

It's not like I planned getting hacked, and what I find the weirdest is that they didn't take anything, they literally hacked me and just trashed the HxHD. Someone from Habbox has to be behind this because only people in Habbox know I go to HxHD.
