well it isnt an april fools. As april fools day is on the 1ST not the 4th and therefor canceling out april fools.

The number on the "H" Banner with a number is counting down days as today is "9" and 9 days until the 4th.

So, what’s this number verification thing?

A few of you investigative types have delved into the client, found references to a new number verification feature, and have concerns about the security of your number should you opt to provide it. I’m here to put those concerns to bed.

If a player gives us their number through this service, an SMS containing a verification code will be sent to their phone, then they simply enter this code into the client window. Afterwards we store the number in such a way that means even we don’t know what it is, similar to how passwords are stored.

This new feature comes hand in hand with some upcoming changes we’re making to new user registration – we’re not going to force anybody to give us their number and we’re certainly not looking to spam your phones! After the SMS verification, you won’t receive another SMS from us.

On the plus side, being able to verify numbers is a good thing! If we can verify that an account is authentic, then we can offer that account better prices and exclusive deals! There’s even something for you old schoolers.. what was that thing’s name.. the R-O-M?

Seems like a campaign to market Habbo after tossing out the game center. The first two videos "Chat" and "Play" were uploaded because all the changes for them have already been implemented. The Play video used old game footage, why wouldn't they have teased something new? Those Banzai images they used on twitter are really old too. The Chat video has footage that was recorded very recently, aka the new chat. Like others have said - Create/Build will be another one. New building blocks, :floor command all point to that. And then Collect/Trade will round out the 4/4. That duck effect recently uploaded could be the reward for an achievement like collecting x amount of ducks. It could also be a new reward for completing the citizen track. Or just an effect to buy in the catalog… :rolleyes: It would be awesome if it was for a hide and seek type of game but I think there's a 0% chance of that happening.

If drastic changes were coming to Habbo I would think they'd wait to have users record the new features. These videos will probably just be put in a playlist and used as part of the 4/4 campaign. Each person in the collab & research group has a popular room that fits into one of those 4 categories.

It's been a year since new management took over so this is like their showcase for the progress they've made. I could go on but the possibilities are endless so I'll leave it at that..
