I'm thinking more about it and it doesn't make a lot of sense considering a lot of people using iPads would prefer to be on Wifi to save money and if I am within reach of Wifi I would prefer to type on my laptop over an iPad. For me anyway.

A lot of people may have a tablet but no laptop, and a tablet is usually more convenient to use over a laptop anyway due to increased portability.
