    There are very clear rules about event booking, point descriptions etc - all staff should be able to follow them! They're written out quite simply.

    I think impromtu events are allowed as long as its posted in booking thread and cnb posted before the hour
    Also what about jazz on air comp? She had booked that so why have points been disallowed? There was cnb posted!!! so annoying

    James' event earlier today was not booked. He was asked by Sam to book it and refused to do so, so if you want to blame someone then go and blame him instead of putting the blame on general management.

    We will also look into the 200 points for hxl competitions and make changes as necessary.

    hi so i was told on air competitions didnt need to be booked (by a snr events on the booking thread) and had my points taken away because of that

    on my comps front all my points and winners have had their points allowed again because i did in fact book them

    as i said to general management, i was told that my points were disallowed through gossip & wasn't told by a single member of upper staff or general management. I'd quite like to know who gave the information to everyone but not me, because it apparently wasn't general management. hmm.

    I had 2 minutes, before the event started and needed to make sure with Kelly it was ok to host within the room, therefore by the time I had finished this I had time to make a community CNB so that people could find the event. Unfortunetly you can't add the event at the end, hence the reason why points were disallowed. I gave out credits anyhow. Don't get me wrong I found it a little annoying how because I failed to do it the rest of the 20 players weren't allowed their teams points. For the hour I hosted for!

    I'm sorry for that, but after a somewhat lengthy "discussion" with @lawrawrrr; things have been resolved and I now know this for future reference. It's my first day after being away for a week or so, and haven't really seen the rules but I did look briefly through the Rules & Regulations, not noticing it's stated separately that you have to book before, you host.

    No you have to make a post in the booking thread, BEFORE you can make a CNB otherwise it's invalid anyway.

    It's in the first sentence of the 'READ THIS BEFORE HOSTING' thread and the first post of the booking thread too!

    Sorry about what happened with Jazz, but we've let everyone know what needed to be done. Remember, NOTHING is official until you are told by either me, Chris or Sam (or Matt once he's back). Don't listen to gossip all the time!
