I kept it indoors over night and window opened with carrots and water, but it never touched any of it. What does 'pasteurellosis' mean? :s lol.

Unfortunately, I woke up at 7am and it had passed away.

a respiratory infection that's quite common in rabbits and can be cured with antibiotics. was it bleeding from anywhere else?

Could've had a run in with a fox or a rat. To be honest if you'd taken it to the vet they'd have kept it overnight to watch it and it would've died there instead.

I simply could not have took ot to the vet. I was on foot, it was 2am and it's in the next town which you need to drive too, it would have been closed.Otherwise I would have.

Buried it in the woodlands where I found it. Least it's in a better place now.
