When David Tennant left I stopped watching Doctor Who. Not sure why, just don't think I liked the change

Pushing Dasies too, though that ended a long time ago.
I'd say doctor who but the opposite for me. I've always watched it but I found it got too stupid at times when Russell T Davies was the show runner. I liked Tennant but he became a bit too human, crying over rose, then dying, so while it was sad when he went I was kind of glad to see a newer doctor. I did enjoy Smith, but the writing at times let him down the power of love and so on.

I really like Capaldi as a more older serious doctor. I was a big fan of classic who way before new who returned and he feels much more like a classic who. But I'm annoyed by the constant drama and kiddy episodes that keep appearing probably to try and balance it out. The robots of sherwood was a big example, having its moments but feeling like something you'd see on CBBC.

A show I used to love was Trollied probably because I've worked for Tesco and Asda, working in retail for over 7 years. It was a good comedy, especially with the two butches and the deputy manager and something relatable. The problem however is the cast have started to leave moving on to other things and they've tried to replace them, trying to get other people to play the same type of character and in most cases it just doesn't work. Sometimes you just have to call it quits really, as the show doesn't even feel like the same show anymore.

I think it was those "power of love" episodes that were killing it for me. I'm not suggesting it was better when I watched it, but I think I just grew out of it a bit and started to watch other shows & do other things.

I'd recommend checking the latest then the power of love part has been removed. It's not perfect as I mentioned, but feels a bit better written in most parts

Heroes, it was great but I stopped watching half way through the final series because it had a terrible story line. I remember being really into the remake on survivors back in 2008. I stopped watching towards the end of the second series as it was not as gripping as the first but then it got cancelled anyway.

Glee, the story lines were amazing and now I still watch it but just don't feel the same connection after everything changed to be honest.

I've binge watched Doctor Who from the new S1 to S7 (currently-ish) and I suppose that I have to agree with slightly falling out of love with the show as far as I'm concerned. I honestly think it's not the actors and characters, but more of the writer's fault for sloppy arcs and the fact that you don't really get that feeling when watching the older seasons.
