As already said, depends what work outs you're doing. You're going to burn far more calories from exercises like running/swimming/cycling than body building - Jord has already suggested HIIT which is good if you're prepared to push yourself.
And as already said again, don't eat too little. The minimum recommended calories is 1100 (according to myfitnesspal) for men and you can use that site to figure out hm you should be eatingg + exercising to lose X pounds a week.
And yes don't rush into jogging - start off with something like couch to 5k - just remember it's about doing it at your own pace not trying to run as fast as you can.
I find it very ironic I'm giving this advice.

Problem with anything with 0 sugar, calories etc, there's always something else in them that your body can't process property, what it can't process it turns into stored fat. No fizzy drinks and cut down on processed sugars etc. Puts some squash in your water and don't replace fizzy with fruit juice.
Boy, We do this weightloss Together. Eat Healthier I recommend MyFitnesspal to log your food and to do runs/walks even if it's 30 minutes it makes a difference.
Great advice, only thing I would add is dont eat back the calories lost from exercise. Quite often the calories predicted to have been burned from exercise is inaccurate so if you go for a 30 minute run and burn off 450 calories that doesn't mean you can then eat an extra mars bar because in reality you probably didn't lose as many calories as it says. The most important thing from a pure weight loss perspective is diet, and eating under your TDEEAs already said, depends what work outs you're doing. I had the same issue, so I replaced the gym with swimming and walking, that for me is so much better and is very successful. Also, I got a fit bit and that is super helpful
But I also go to weight watchers, but obviously thats not for everyone
I wouldn't replace the gym with running/swimming/whatever. Working out is one of the best ways to burn calories, and it's also going to make you more defined. As a male you want to be muscular/defined, not skinny.
As for weight watchers etc, don't both with diet fads, you'll end up putting it all back on (sorry jazz)
Can't comment on weightwatchers, but slimming world is hardly a fad diet, considering how so many people have success with it, and continue to keep the weight of for years. The plan is designed to lose 1-2 lb a week, so hardly a fad. They promote healthy eating patterns and their plan is really satisfying. You don't feel deprived at all on it, and can be easily followed long term.I wouldn't replace the gym with running/swimming/whatever. Yeah you're doing great though keep it up! Try and stick to more water than Coke because even though it says Coke Zero you're still in-taking sugar and that's what causing you not to see the results you want. Try to eat more chicken and stay away from too much protein and bad carbs, if you have any questions just come to me I would love to help I have lost 7 lbs in two weeks from changing my eating patterns! It's been over a year I haven't had soda and WOW, I feel absolutely amazing.
