They over reacted due to his skin colour. Any normal teacher would speak to the kid properly about what it was and if she was really worried then taken him to the principals office alone to discuss. I am not saying they were wrong to report him, but the manner in which the school and the police treated the child is terrible.

I'd like the BBC and international media to for once report one of the numerous shootings by innocent people in America of all colours where they've defend their house and family by using a gun against criminal scum.
