wait so the guy who actually stopped because the flood drove off after being rear ended, or did he not get hit?

yeah they drove off I don't know if they even noticed they were hit (big car), I think the 2nd car hit it at a low speed, the most damage was 3rd car hitting 2nd car. im guessing the first car was either embarrassed they caused a big pile up cause of breaking so harshly at a flood (it wasn't THAT bad) or didn't have insurance.

ah i'd imagine you'd still notice being hit even at low speed though, but who knows

to be fair insurance wise I'd imagine he wouldn't of been to blame anyway, if I smash the brakes and someone goes into the back of me I think they'd be in the wrong as they're not maintaining a safe distance from me in order to brake?

#2 and #3 were to blame
i was told it'd be me to blame as I went in at the back but uh... I crashed into people who had already crashed into each other and I took pics of my bumper/reg plate and theirs so they didn't even try blaming me. Never heard back from any of them so not sure what came about it.

I did see that they were ALL up each others ass and in fact the guy in front of me overtook me at the beginning lol

ive no idea honestly. poor lad hadnt long past his test and was driving to work, feel sorry for him. he was lucky i was able to slow down and not damage his car any further. think it'll deffo stop him from driving too fast in poor weather conditions tho.
