Why do quiet ppl have to be boring ?

Not all quiet people are boring. Last year I had a best friend called Alecia.. she was quiet.. and shy.. but also trustworthy, thoughtful, funny, and a good listener. She was also able to hold conversations that we both understood. Now, however, she is loud, brash and annoying. She cannot keep secrets; she always ditches me; and she can't have sensible conversations. For some strange reason, she didn't feel comfortable quiet. She said she didn't want to be a major geek for the rest of her life. I didn't think she was a geek. I enjoyed her company immensely when she was quieter. Now I rarely experience her company.
