for gods sake hes not saying hey rate my idea and originality, when will you guys get over yourselves? alting is a hobby, its for fun, you guys criticise everything anyone does, if your going to criticise its supposedto be to help them improve the piece of work in front of them not to make them feel inadequate in comparison to yourselves. Does it make you feel better to do that?

If an ok alt takes someone three hours i think its better than a brilliant alt that takes 5 minutes because although the latter might look better its the creative thought and dedication put into it.

I like it. Work more with shading and as Lynn said, a bigger (mommy turtle lol) might give you a chance to work on the detail more.
